We have collected most of the major components.
English Electric 16SVT mk1 power unit IH1861 of 1947
Built in the same batch as those units fitted to 10000/1, this was purchased from Powerfind by the society and is now in dry storage pending manufacture of parts to fit an alternator to it. .
Class 58 chassis from 58022
Donated to the Society by a member. This is currently on a sturgeon wagon awaiting alterations to be carried out.
Class 77 (EM2) bogies
We purchased the bogies from the EM2 Society. They were formerly used by 1503 Juno. We are currently stripping them for refurbishment while the wheels will go for reprofiling and tyre turning.
Class 56 alternators
One was donated by GB Railfreight and another purchased from UK Rail. These are currently in dry storage awaiting fitting to the power unit.
Class 56 rectifier
Donated by GB Railfreight. Awaiting refurbishment.
Class 58 cooling unit
This came with 58022 and will be resized and refurbished.
